With the cold weather outside now is a great time to organize. We all have that scary closet or that desk that looks like a tornado hit it. Now is a great time to organize and make things right!
For your closets get some simple baskets at Kmart, Walmart, or even Target. They come in all shapes and sizes and you can put as much or as little as you want. The great thing about organizing is that you can be as simple or as complex as you want. Pick a basket for all your craft supplies, choose another for all the loose games you have. As you put the baskets on your shelves you will have nice and neat spots for the other bigger things, like puzzles and decorations, that are too big for baskets.
Desks can be a scary task, your whole life is there what if you misplace something! I like to have a file holder right next to my computer so that I know exactly what needs to be done that day or that week. I have a "needs to be filed" basket and once a week I file everything away. For those magazines that you'll read when you have time, get a magazine holder and clean it out once a month.
These are simple yet they can go a long way to making your busy life flow better.
